About
Allen E. Weh is the Chief Executive Officer of CSI Aviation Services, Inc., an international air charter and leasing services company he founded in 1979. He also serves as Chairman of Seabird Aviation America, Inc., which is bringing the Australian SBL-360 Seeker aircraft to market in the western hemisphere.
He has been a member of the Albuquerque Police Advisory Board, a past chairman and member of the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Retail Association and a member of the National Advisory Board at the Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico. He was also appointed by the Secretary of Defense to serve as Chairman of the Defense Board for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve from 2002 to 2003 and is a past Chairman of the Republican Party of New Mexico.
Weh is a Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve (Ret), who began his service as an enlisted Marine before being selected for Officer Candidate School. He served two tours in Vietnam and with the British Royal Marines in Malaysia. Colonel Weh was recalled to active duty during the Persian Gulf War, for the U.S. expedition into Somalia, and to serve as Chief of Staff of Marine Forces Pacific prior to retiring in 1997. In 2003-04 he was recalled from the Retired List to serve in Iraq and given a key leadership role with the creation and organization of the new Iraqi Army.
Colonel Weh is the recipient of the Silver Star, the Bronze Star with “V,” three Purple Hearts and five Air Medals. In addition to these combat awards, he also received the Legion of Merit and two Meritorious Service Medals. He holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from the University of New Mexico. Additional educational courses include the U. S. State Department’s “Seminar in Foreign Affairs for Senior Executives” and various professional military courses. He also attended the Executive Program “Military Innovation: Technology and Strategy” at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Weh is married to the former Rebecca Ann Roberton and has three children and four grandchildren.
